2023-2024 Season

Handel Choir of Baltimore brings together excellent singers to perform beautiful and challenging choral music.
 
In addition to our annual December Messiah with period instrument orchestra, our repertoire ranges from early music through newly commissioned works.
 
Our 2023-2024 season Baltimore Better Together celebrates collaboration with artists from all over the city, including Maryland State Boychoir, BSO pianist Lura Johnson, and chamber vocal ensemble Third Practice. Season repertoire includes beloved standards by Mendelssohn and Handel, new and old works by Baltimore composers, Bach’s monumental motet Singet dem Herrn, and a newly composed cantata for Baroque instruments and voices by Jasmine Barnes.

2024-2025 Soloist Auditions
If you would like to be considered for a soloist audition for our 2024-2025 season, scroll down for more information. Call 410.568.9972 if you have additional questions or concerns.

HOW TO SCHEDULE A SOLOIST AUDITION

FOR A SOLOIST AUDITION WITH HANDEL CHOIR OF BALTIMORE

  1. Send email to info@handelchoir.org
  2. In the Subject line include: [Your First Name and Last Name], [Voice Part] Soloist Audition Request
  3. Your email must include:
    • a bio, resume, CV or equivalent with email and phone number
    • audio files attached or links to audio or video (links are preferred).
    • include text identifying (1) the composer and title of featured material and (2) the year the recording was made.
