2022-2023 Season

Led by Artistic Director and Conductor Brian Bartoldus, the critically acclaimed Handel Choir of Baltimore brings together excellent singers and musicians from across the mid-Atlantic region to perform repertoire ranging from early music to newly commissioned works. The ensemble performs three subscription concerts per season (September through May), including Handel’s Messiah, which the Choir has performed every year since 1935.

Auditions for Community Choristers 
Handel Choir will next hold auditions for volunteer community choir members  in August 2022.

  • Friday, July 8, 2022, 7-10 pm
  • Saturday, July 9, 2022, 10 am-3 pm
  • Friday, August 19, 2022, 7-10 pm
  • Saturday, August 20, 2022, 10 am-3 pm

All auditions will be held in person.

Auditions for Soloist
If you would like to be considered for a soloist audition for our 2022-2023 season, click here or scroll down for information on submitting materials in order to be considered for a soloist audition. Due to high interest, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate all soloist audition requests.

For all auditions, you’ll need to provide an email address in order to sign up. If you don’t have an email address, call the office at 667.206.4120 and we’ll sign you up over the phone.

  2. In the Subject line include: [Your First Name and Last Name], [Voice Part] Soloist Audition Request
  3. Your email must include:
    • a bio, resume, CV or equivalent with email and phone number
    • audio files attached or links to audio or video (links are preferred).
    • include text identifying (1) the composer and title of featured material and (2) the year the recording was made.
